    historical ambiance
    noisy surroundings
    dated decor

Historical ambiance throughout the hotel, convenient free parking, charming quirks in décor

The poorly insulated windows let in noise from the street!!! The decor is desperately in need of modernization to revive its former glory!!! Maintenance issues detract from the overall experience, making it feel neglected!!!

Our room was gorgeous with wood panelling and a four-poster bed, super comfy! There was some noise from the busy junction outside, but the charm of the place made up for it. A bit warm in the ensuite, but overall, very inviting.
